- M'atcha has always dreamed of owning a café or tavern of his own. This motivation is part of why he embarked on a journey all over the star to learn the arts of drink preparation, both for hot and cold beverages.
- His trusty companion (and one mascot of The Woodwork) is a korpokkur named Sapling! The little thing is free to roam as it pleases.
- The other mascot is a horse named Breezy- once tempered by Garuda and treated with a porxie, she now gets the chance to experience life once more.
- He actually lives in the back of the café, in a tiny apartment space containing all necessities.
- This miqo'te has incredibly sensitive ears, and may cover them if things get too loud or chaotic.Backstory:
M'atcha was born in Gyr Abania to M'aht Nunh of the Marmots and the Moonkeeper Riri Nanku, growing up alongside his half brother M'zhet until the Garleans took over the family's hunting grounds. Atcha and his mother stayed with the bigger group while the other two decided to leave- and he never saw his father again due to the unfortunate incident involving local wildlife being corrupted by Black Rose. Riri, mourning the tragic loss of her lover, left their child with the remaining women and departed for Sharlayan to take work as a gleaner while M'atcha studied healing magicks.Upon turning 20 summers of age M'atcha decided to leave home (partially to make the remaining nunh M'rahz feel less threatened by his presence but mostly) in pursuit of a good life- learning through work at a tavern that good drink and food were capable of making people happy, and thus departing on a journey to travel the star for three summers. Many recipes were learned, techniques studied, and finally down the line...he opened a café of his own with the goal of making anyone who entered feel at home.

- E'mepu tends to be distant and sometimes even teasing towards strangers due to her experiences as an adventurer, but she is very much capable of adjusting her behavior and demeanor to whatever is currently needed in a situation.
- Her crow companion's name is Morgana, or otherwise nicknamed Momo! She was raised from hatchling age and trained into helping with various tasks, such as hunting and communication. E'mepu has her own form of talking to her through various sounds that Morgana associates with different things.
- There's also Fifi the protective red chocobo and surrogate melee teammate, Squeak the Coyote and Diamond the Corgi as well as Argos within the WoL timeline. She lovingly calls them "the Pack".
- E'mepu dislikes being touched by strangers without warning or permission, especially around her ears and tail. there have been a couple of instances where one of her hidden daggers was drawn and pointed at someone for testing their limits, knowingly or not.
- She loves sour foods. The more face-twisting tanginess the better! But a hearty meal will not be denied either, with a preference for seafood and game (both equally favored) over other things.
- Not too fond of bugs. The crawlier the worse- E'mepu avoids botany because of it, and never stores the wood for her carpentry projects outdoors.Backstory:
For a while, E'mepu was the youngest child in the Eft Clan. Born to E'tyaka Nunh and I'kanko Zahvi with two older sisters (one of which shared only their father), she was the typical spoiled nestling who would cling to her mother's side while Father was busy with running things.
Alas, that would find a sudden change- I'kanko, dissatisfied with her partner's emotional detachment from his families despite fathering two more children from a different woman, left to rejoin her own clan...leaving her daughters E'kutra and E'mepu behind to be raised by the others' mothers instead. The five siblings would grow close, taking on different roles to pursue their passions, and it was when the middle child turned of age that she decided to leave the clan and seek an independent, prosperous life.She took on many odd jobs on her long way to Gridania. Dancing for those who wished to be entertained, aiding hunters with bringing in game, doing simple fetch quests and assisting people with their daily tasks in exchange for coin or a place to sleep... It wasn't something that E'mepu particularly enjoyed, but up until that point it had been necessary- and the crow that she'd raised from hatchling age after finding it on her path was a much needed companion both in regards to comfort and assistance with the hunt. Upon reaching Gridania, she would join the archers' guild...which is where the timeline splits.In one- the main timeline- E'mepu encountered the Scions of the Seventh Dawn in the forest and was (somewhat unwillingly) dragged into becoming the Warrior of Light as well as a symbol of hope. We all know how that story went, albeit with some minor changes.In the other timeline she never unlocked the Echo and instead focused on trying to reach a higher quality of life with the intention to, well, not quite settle down but lead an existence of comfort that would be compatible with the miqo'te's whims.???

As the accidentally conceived bastard son of Emperor Varis, Cassian had an interesting childhood. He would grow up mostly kept separately from the rest of his family; sent into military service once his father deemed him old enough. He was discharged on account of not being a decent enough fighter to properly serve his country- perhaps his superiors had felt bad for him, or perhaps they feared he would reflect badly upon their squadrons.He'd always favored negotiations over mindless fighting. Some called it a fear of blood, when he simply didn't want it to stick to his own hands. Cassian still tried to earn his father's favor, eventually at least achieving such in part by talking him into bestowing the title of yae in case Zenos were to fall in battle or be driven mad by the thrill of the hunt as to ensure preventing Titus' line from ascending the throne- only to move into a town in the outskirts of the capital and observe any developments from there.He didn't want his dear older brother to see him as a threat after all.

- Seiji keeps most of his tails hidden, usually pretending to be a miqo'te sunseeker for the sake of being left alone by the curious. Those who get to see, much less touch his tail(s) are either those he trusts with his life or those who have earned a favor.
- Shapeshifting is like training a muscle- the more often Seiji turns into a specific form the more their aether gets used to being rearranged in that specific shape/color and the longer the transformation lasts before returning to something they're used to.Backstory:
Born to an unnamed mother in the heart of Yanxia, Seiji grew up making only limited contact with the surrounding villages for the purpose of gathering supplies- prefering instead to remain hidden from the invading Garleans in a cave turned cozy enough place to stay. How he managed to evade the soldiers for so long without being imprisoned or killed is...a bit of a mystery that he rarely speaks on, only ever offering vague hints of being too swift on his feet or the enemy being too easy to outsmart.He didn't leave his home until the flooding and destruction of Doma Castle, declaring that he would have to search for a "new purpose" or duty.Within Lex's Timeline Seiji would join the Scions of the Seventh Dawn by becoming the Warrior of Light's companion and emotional support fox best friend, usually found at the miqo'te's side when he's not exploring the realm alongside the warrior's trusty kamuy.
Occasionally Seiji may take on the form of "Seiko" for one of various reasons. Kitsune don't particularly care about any gender binary whatsits anyways, so why not be a pretty lady when you feel like being one?In this form they may pose as a shrine maiden of Tamamo Gozen, or just go with the "I am the twin sister" excuse around those who are not aware that they're not a miqo'te.

- Speaking of his morning routine, it is Extensive (given Uri has enough time for it, of course) and includes both skin- and some much needed self-care. The result is a man as smooth as a baby, though he'll always be a little self-conscious of the stretch marks on his torso + legs.
- Sometimes he will read his own fortune, more out of curiosity over whether plans will work out or not than to try and figure out major events.

It was as a stowaway on a merchant ship that she first made her way to Limsa Lominsa, hidden between crates of "exotic" food from her home and barrels of other goods. Despite being surrounded by food, Kitty was afraid of being found out for stealing and thus almost starved to death- had it not been for a group of Limsan pirates searching the wares for something that the Admiral at that time was looking for. The little kit was taken in and raised as one of their own, eventually making friends with personalities like Baderon before meeting her future partner Peanut and joining her crew as the ship healer.

Found by Sharlayan scholars as a toddler and named after the second stage of creating the Magnum Opus in alchemy, Albedo had an interesting upbringing.
Cursed as he was with a poor immune system that forced the boy to stay indoors often and get his health checked frequently, it was also a blessing in disguise that allowed him to assist his parents in their research and absorb the sources of knowledge surrounding him like a sponge for entertainment.The study of the stars especially piqued his interest; it took many pleas and promises for the scholars to finally let their adopted child join the Athenaerium Astrologicum and study to become an Astrologian on the conditions that he would send frequent updates on his health plus progress as well as not attract too much attention (and possibly end up in danger's way through that).
They had never said anything about not secretly practicing alchemy based on what he had observed and read, however.Oh well.When word of the Warrior of Light and the Scions of the Seventh Dawn founding the Crystal Braves in an attempt to offer a neutral peacekeeping party to Eorzea reached the Observatorium, he joined them...less on a whim and more out of wanting to meet members of the Circle of Knowing personally. Helping people in need was more of a bonus to his motives.We all know how that went. Albedo left in a quiet manner, returning to a home devoid of the people he called family......and the rest is history.Or is it?
